The Department of Emergency Preparedness and Defense is responsible for emergency relief and defense of the event of the Unified Christians Alliance suffering a crisis. The Following is a list of directives to be followed in the event of an emergency.  

 

Directive #1 

In the unlikely event that a dedicated foreign attack is made on the Unified Christians Alliance the president should immediately remove administrative control of the region from the World Assembly Delegate. Following the ejection of foreign invaders a temporary regional password should be fabricated to ensure the security of the region and it's assets. If the president is unavailable during an incursion than member nations should direct their attention to the regional communications center for further information from the ranking officer. All nations present on the dossier should be contacted and accounted for so that rebuilding can be a smooth transition.

2.)Vice President and WA Delegate of the Unified Christians Alliance 

3.) Secretary of Emergency Preparedness and Defense 

3.5) WA delegate if separate office from Vice President  

4.)Secretary of Domestic Affairs 

5.)Secretary of Foreign Affairs 

6.)Secretary of Recruitment 

7.)Longest Residing Nation within the Unified Christians Alliance


Succession of power is temporary and when contact is made with a senior ranking officer, rightful command of the region will be transfered immediately to said officer, along with any intelligence materials present. If no officers are in contact for two weeks after the resolution of the crisis, than an election may be held to determine replacment officer positions. 


 DEFCON Scale:

DEFCON 5

The Region is currently in a state of peace and only essential peacekeeping personell are kept on duty, and regional armed forces are at a low state of readiness. 

DEFCON 4

The Region is at a state of heightened alert additional active duty personel are mobilized as a precaution, regional armed forces are on alert. 

DEFCON 3

The Region is preparing for possible attack,  all active duty personel are mobilized and prepared for defensive action. 

DEFCON 2

The Region is expecting immanent attack, all off duty personel are mobilized.

DEFCON 1 

The Region is actively in a State of War with another region.
